15 Jun 2026 2026 Rotarians in the Rough Golf Tournament Jun 15, 2026 12:00 PM Join us for the 4th annual Rotarians in the Rough outing! This Downtown Rotary-sponsored event is a fundraiser for a different local nonprofit organization each year. The golf outing will be a four-person, best-shot tournament with dinner provided following play. The Rotary Club of Cedar Rapids (Downtown Rotary) is proud to support area organizations that are doing incredible work. This year’s benefiting nonprofit is the Eastern Iowa Health Center! Proceeds from the event will go towards the expansion of their Pediatric Clinic in 2026, which will double their space from 2,500 to 5,000 square feet. This growth will allow them to expand from 7 rooms to 14, from 2 providers to 4, and from 4 to 8 support staff. EIHC is currently on track for 9,200 pediatric encounters in the current fiscal year. Based on how busy their current providers are, they are confident that the community need for their Pediatric services will continue to increase. Over 70% of EIHC's patients are at or below the federal poverty level. Pediatrics are a needed service at EIHC, especially considering that they provide additional wrap around services such as food boxes from HACAP, coordination between their other clinics (including Dental), social work, and enrollment coordinators to empower even the youngest clients to be their healthiest selves.
